0 Learning About Fashion Making And Design

The main objective of a fashion association is to make sure a person's ideas turn into wearable Art, reflected through clothes, colors and patterns. Fashion making is for people to learn about the different types and patterns of materials. They also teach one how to sew and how to measure those materials by using computers with a special fashion designing software. Likewise, showing someone about how to draw or sketch these on paper.

In order for someone to feel comfortable and give them the desire to want to wear the clothes, the color and fabric need to be just right. In some cases, for people to feel nice in these, they need to have their measurements taken, a common example would be formal suites for men. This is called tailoring. This means that the designer takes his personal sizes and applies these special sizes to the suite.

Fashion is affected but the changes in social and cultural events. These can be seen through the artwork in the materials and patterns used for the clothes. A formal dress made from silk can not be compared to shorts made from cotton, or a polyester shirt. Different styles have different fabrics and with them, a unique feeling of comfort and fashion.

There are different demands regarding fashion. For example, ready-to-wear garments are for the mass market, whereas tailored clothes are usually for more formal wear. Private events sometimes also require specific dress codes. Depending on the type of event, the clothes require certain fabrics and accessories.

People do not use the same type of clothing during summer as in the winter. For every season of the year, there are certain colors and materials the clothing need to have. So, in order to catch the eye of the mass market and be comfortable at the same time, it has to be stylish.

Some designers work for a company or a specific brand name as a team. While others have their own brand name and work on their own time then sell the clothes to mass market companies.

So in order for an outfit to be wearable and look pleasing to the customer's eye, the patterns and colors need to draw people's attention. Before this is accomplished, the outfit must be fitted then worn by a model on a runway. Once this is accomplished, is it then considered as fashion making.
